Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that can make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to provide attributes bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. They provide fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be used on some ascended back equipment. Injecting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will show their names in the hover display of the item while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses are applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. You can upgrade your Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and this is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. Rerolling
